Barre is a dynamic full-body fitness class, inspired by ballet-technique combined with ideas from strength-training, cardio, pilates, and yoga. Classes focus around the ballet barre, where students are guided through a progression of low impact, isometric exercises targeting thighs, seat (glutes), core, and upper body.Barre technique is designed to strengthen and tone muscles that are often neglected by other fitness modalities.
